Re: Multiple surnames

The ability to store multiple surnames for a person seems to have been lost in the move from Recorder 3 - this is essential to be able to handle married and maiden names.

Re: Multiple surnames

Well another item I find I'm horrified over. One has to wonder if it was designed to be less functional to the point of loosing information or an accident.

I truly despair at the lack of thought that has gone in to this 'improved' product.

Not only can I not store information on new people but all the data I had in the old R3.4 is probably lost. This will lead inevitably to unnecessary duplication of data. It is at times like this that one thinks a box full of random pieces of paper could be just as effective at least we knew the limitations. Here with R2K onwards we seem to have taken many steps backwards and weirdly I still find I'm surprised that after 10yrs of development and half a million pounds we still cant do what we could 10yrs ago?

Oh well back to the future, its bound to be worse.
