Re: Windows updates

Hi All

I was wondering how folk dealt with windows updates.

It seems they are important for security and general functionality, but do they have the potential to cause problems with Recorder? After some investigation I think that creating a system restore point once a week and then installing updates might be the best method. What does everyone else do? Does anyone out there test Recorder with the new updates? Am I just being unduly paranoid here?

Re: Windows updates

I've never had an update cause problems before. They get installed onto the server and all of the workstations automatically here. A system restore point is created automatically when an update is pushed out anyway, so you shouldn't need to manually create a restore point.

Charles
Thanks for the reply. I'll switch automatic updates on and get to know the registry backup and restore functions just in case.

Re: Windows updates

I have not test Recorder 6. But I saw that it had some mistakes when working with Windows 7.
