Has anyone tried to install the SQL Management Toolkit off the Recorder DVD? Every time I try, I get a 'cyclic redundancy error' whilst unpacking the data, so never even get to the install stage!

Yes I have done it several times and it works,  It looks as though you may have a faulty CD. Cyclic redundancy error is most frequently seen when a CD/DVD is damaged, although it can sometimes be a software or hardware problem. Copying the whole CD/DVD temporarily to a folder on your hard drive will often work and you can install the software from there. If the copy fails then you either have a faulty CD or a faulty drive.

I figured the same thing and copied the SQL_TOOLKIT file to my harddrive, it then opened fine!
