Re: Error with Delete Survey add-in

After updating my computer I now find the Delete Survey Add-in does not work on my new computer, so I'm assume a permission problem - any ideas?

The add-in runs displays the figures about each survey, on clicking OK (to delete Survey) it goes away and thinks for a while then the Warning prompt "Failed to delete survey!" appears - removing this shows no change to the Recorder database the survey is still present and all the occurrences are still there.

I have tried the add-in with organise by tags on and off (I know this was an early problem), but no differences.

Since I get no Recorder error message, there is no clue as to what is causing the problem

The Add-in version is 6.0.0.29

I get this all the time - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Have you tried using the batch update that will delete surveys? Tools – Run Batch Updates – Delete – Del5. The advantage of this is that it deletes down from a level so it will delete survey events, samples etc. as well as whole surveys, but back up first, as always.
