I have had a couple of recent reports of the same problem on installing R6.14.4a on a standalone PC running XP and with plenty of available RAM and diskspace.

The installation doesn't get past 'Unpacking remaining installation files' with the progress bar at or near the RH end.

I have sucessfully installed the same version on similar PCs without any problem - and I can't find any similar problem reported on this forum.

Any suggestions?
