Could someone please explain an error encountered when importing ? Validation was apparently successful; when clicked 'Do Import', it failed.

I now have events and samples without taxon occurrences in the database.

I accept errors occur, but am disappointed that the database writes weren't in a transaction that should have been rolled back to a clean point if an error occurred.

The columns being imported were Species Name, Date, Grid Reference, Location Name, Altitude, Taxon Occurrence Comment and Provenance.
