Hi

I've restored an older version of Recorder (6.14.4.212 - Dict. J) to a standalone PC and everything appears OK apart from the version. It is now showing as 6.14.5.218 Dict. J. The PC was previously 6.14.5.218 Dict. M, so the dictionary is correct but not the version.
I've checked the table in the database and that is correct, so is the version held elsewhere?

Help - About Recorder 6... tells you the version of the software not the version of the database, and in v6.14, the dictionary version from Dict Seq in the Setting table. If you load up an earlier version of the database you should re-run the upgrades to bring the two into line.

Thanks Sally,

If I understand correctly, the Help is telling me the level of software I have on the PC, whilst the Setting table tells me the level from which the backup was created.
