I've just embarked on installing R6 on workstations. Unfortunately it looks like the .exe has been deleted. I've no idea how, did I read about something like this happening during one of the updates.

Anyway I'm not sure what files should be in there. I notice that there are quite a few in the installation disk folder called "system". I have copied across the "WorkstationSetup.exe" but when run I get an 'Unable to Locate Component', reporting that it cannot find the MS5.DLL which is in the folder above i.e. the server installation folder.

Does anyone know what I need to do to make this work again please.

Well if there is no solution to this it says I have to reinstall R6. The way I feel at present if could be easier to create my own database. It took long enough to get it working in the first place.

Is there really no one who knows what files should be in the workstation install folder?

How very strange, thanks Charles. I checked and everything is in place. However the installation only works if I place the setup files in the main R6 folder.

Hi
I have come to install Recorder 6 onto someones PC and I am getting the error RecorderApp.ntv.lng is not found.  Has anyone got a copy of this file please?

RecorderApp.ntv.lng should be in the installation files you are using – in \System\ RecStdSvr.zip. Are you doing a network or standalone installation? What are you using to do it – a DVD or the download? If you are using a DVD, what version is it? If your DVD is earlier than version 6.17.2, I suggest you try one of the downloads: www.Recorder6.info/Standalone.zip or www.Recorder6.info/Network.zip .
