Here's another little one I'd like to see.

I frequently want to copy the contact details for an individual or organisation, in order to paste them in somewhere else and find it very frustrating that this has to be doen in several operations.

The Individual tab of the Names and addresses view displays the full address and preferred contact number in its address box. but this is not selectable unless you are in edit mode. In the Address tab the address is selectable without edit mode, but then you have to enter edit mode to pick up the postcode separately. If I want a non-preferred contact number (e.g. the email address) the Contact Number tab again needs edit mode to allow the number to be copied.

Wouldn't it be easier to display a summary of all contact details on the individual tab (where the address box is now), to include Name, all addresses & contact numbers (preferred first and marked as such) in a box which allows selecting and copying when not in edit mode? Now that we have text boxes which expand with the page, such a summary is clearly possible.

Good idea Rob (I'll log it). There are a number of areas where selecting and copying would be very useful. This should really be part of an enhancement across Recorder however funds won't stretch to that this year. Hopefully, this should be possible in the report output grid before too long.
