Re: Indicia release 0.2

The latest bout of Indicia development is now complete. This has included many improvements to the entire system, but here is a quick summary of the most notable feature changes in the latest version:

Installation kit for the Indicia Warehouse significantly improved.

Support for a library of "prebuilt" data entry forms that can be re-used with just a few configuration parameters. These give some reference implementations that can be adapted to local requirements.

Drupal module for linking prebuilt Indicia forms into your Drupal site.

The client-side classes now support caching, making data entry forms load much faster.
New Flickr controls allow the user to search their Flickr photos to link to a record. The date and place of the photo are automatically linked to the record.

New Postcode selector control allow a postcode to be entered to obtain a record location. The linked map is moved to the entered location.

New location selector control automatically pans a map to the selected location.

Warehouse CSV data upload improvements - for example when uploading checklists common names and synonyms can be uploaded with each taxon name.

The client side data entry control library has been improved significantly. The main features of this improvement are: support for themes (using jQuery UI theming), templatable controls for full control over the output HTML, and a more consistent, flexible and expandable method of calling the control methods. In addition the support for validation has been improved and simplified.
The reporting grids now support the Species Microformat.

Upgraded the OpenLayers mapping library to version 2.8 and the Kohana framework to 2.3.4.

I hope you enjoy it!
