Hi,
I got the new upcoming recorder 6.14.1.202 and try to customizing the database. It would be great to have the choice, during the setup, to insert the default content or not, which is uk/irland related. Removing the default content after the setup isnt evident. I tried to write an sql script which delete all this default content but this isnt easy because of the foreign key constraints. An other possibility could be to deliver such a sql script within the install cd which removes all this default content. This would be much safer and it could save time of the users.

I am not sure about how to delete the default content but the idea of setting up the content on install is interesting. Due to lack of funds this is not really a top priority for us in the UK. Perhaps this might be of interest to Tania or Guy at the Luxembourg Natural History Museum - I am guessing this is where you got your copy of Recorder from?
