I'm having problems with the Delete Survey Addin - on running, it takes some time, then reports 'Delete Survey failed', however, when I create a test survey, add a couple of dummy records then try to delete it works fine - it is only with real surveys, the one I've been trying to delete is also 'owned' by a MapMate CUK

I am running it as an administrator

Did you import the survey in question through the import wizard? Are you having trouble with deleting any others (if you have needed to delete others and couldn't)? Which version of Recorder are you using and which version of the addin? The latest version is on the addins page of the website; http://forums.nbn.org.uk/recorderWebsite/Addins.htm

I have version 6.0.0.30 of the Delete Survey addin installed (the version on the Recorder website is advertised as version v6.0.0.29) and it still will not delete surveys if they have a Survey Tag attached to them. If I remove the Survey Tag, it works.

Lynn,

I'm using the latest version of the addin, only downloaded it last week and the latest version of Recorder

The survey was imported using the Import routine, but it also has TAGs added to it, so after seeing Charles' comment I'll try deleting the tags and trying again - will have to wait until tomorrow now as doing another 91,000 record import

Your solution worked perfectly - removing all the tags from the survey and it deleted without error
