I have found the following problem if two sites are combined which have the same Admin Areas - when the two sites have been combined, the resulting site has 2 entries for all the Admin Areas - if I go in and delete one of each of the pairs of entries - when I press the SAVE button ALL the Admin Area entries disappear and have to be re-entered from scratch!

Can you tidy up the admin areas before combining the sites - does this get round it?
I will log this on the database for further enquiry.

I have come across that error, too.  I think if you did remove the duplicate administrartive areas from one of the sites before merging them it would be OK; its remembering to look that they are there in both.
