You may have noticed that the error message in Recorder was updated in the latest version (6.13.3) - this was not entirely planned and related to some background work regarding the automatic logging of exceptions (which is currently prohibitively expensive to complete). Unfortunately this new version appears to not create the lasterror.txt file - this will be corrected in the next release (due roughly Apr/May time). Sorry for the inconvenience and confusion that this may have caused.
