Re: Search for prefered name

Hi All
I'd like to be able to search for species’ preferred names: using either common or binomial names supplied by clients. There is a useful feature in the recording cards that does this for binomial names when you add species. Is it available anywhere else within Recorder? If not, is there a table I could open in Access to search through?
Thanks
David

If you select Dictionaries on the main menu then Taxon you will open the taxon dictionary where you can search for taxa in a variety of ways. If you click F1 with this window open it will take you to the relevent section of the help where I think what you want is under 'Finding Taxa'. There were a number of improvements to this area in v6.13.
