Re: Searching on the first line of an address

Apologies if this is a basic obvious question but I seem to be by myself in the office for the next few days...

Is there any way that I can search on the first line of an address?

We deal a lot with landowners especially farmers and are currently completing some landowner investigations which require us to contact farms.  Ideally I would like to search on the first line of the address (farm name) to ensure that we do not already have the details in.  For example, I want to avoid having Mr Smith at Hall Farm and the Occupier at Hall Farm.

I've searched through the help file and can not seem to turn anything useful up and the filter seems only to let me search on the fourth line of the address or postcode.

Any help very gratefully received.

Thanks

Kirsty

I think I can do that, Kirsty, if you can wait until I get back from leave.

Thanks Darwyn - See how much we miss you! :P

Re: Searching on the first line of an address

This is actually a feature in Recorder - well nearly.
Apply a Filter to the Names and Addresses and one of the options is "County (Address fourth line)"
Why just that one?
Can we have the first, second and third lines added to this filter please?
