Topic: Importing Shapefile

When I try to import an ESRI Shapefile using the Add Boundary - Import command, I get the error
No objects found in Data

This has worked for me in the past with other shapefiles. I've checked with the help file that I am following the correct sequence, so is this a bug that has been introduced in the last update to Recorder?
I am running version 6.22.2.274 under Windows 8.1

Re: Importing Shapefile

Just in case anyone else stumbles onto this when also search for Error: No objects found in data

For me this turned out to be some kind of vertex issue that was not being picked up by geometry checks. Converting the Shapefile into MIF/MID output using QGIS meant R6 imported the boundary but it showed a vertex running off to the bottom left of the GB extent. Clearly not what was intended.

I buffered the original shapefile by 1m which then imported in R6 as normal as the expected extent.

I can't say that this error will always be linked to fault geometry but its something to check. Good luck!
