I've also had problems following an upgrade to Microsoft 365, when everything on my laptop was wiped and reinstalled.
Recorder (unusually) appeared to be working fine, other than an error message right at the start, saying that it couldn't load some addins:
The following addins could not be loaded for the specified reasons:
GoToGridControl.Go to spatial ref on map.: Class not registered
NBNExchangeAddinNu.NBN Exchange Format - v6.29 : Class not registered
ShowUnchecked.Display unchecked records: Class not registered
However, it crashes when I try to import records from a spreadsheet. Everything is OK until the final stage - it goes through Processing import file and Creating temporary database, then crashes on Validating data. It generates an error report, then I have to close it.
The error report (attached) gives Class not registered as the Exception message.
Are the two issues linked?
