Topic: Batch update to change subspecies to species?

I have several hundred records for Pied Wagtail which recorder matched with the sub species Motacilla alba yerrellii. I have now located the original data and would like to update the sub species to the species. Is there a batch update that could do this?. Many thanks for any help. Mhairi

This should do the job.  Please make sure you take a backup of the database and check the results before adding more data.

thank you Mike, much appreciated. There are some other species with trinomials that I would like to change using the TOK key and the appropriate TVK. Is there anything more general available? Sorry to be a pest.
