Topic: Document linking to taxon occurrences

If records are entered into Recorder 6 using the "Enter a single record for a species" form, then any 'Document' added the the record is actually added to the sample and not the taxon occurrence - I think if a recording form is used then the document is added to the taxon occurrence.

This causes a problem when reporting on a document - the standard report wizard totally ignores any taxon occurrences where the document is attached to the sample - despite logic stating that if the document is attached to the sample then by inference ALL the contained taxon occurrences also should refer to the same document!

Is there a way of reporting on a document irrespective of whether it is attached to the sample of the taxon occurrence?

Re: Document linking to taxon occurrences

Hi
There is a UDF and new report wizard entries which will report on documents irrespective  if whether they are attached to sample or occurrences. They will be in 6.29 but I can provide them now if it helps. V6.29 also offers the option to save the documents input via Recording Cards against the occurrences.
