Topic: Records for grid square

I am sure that this topic has probably been raised before, but I'm still having problems in finding a quick way to download a species list for a 1km grid square.
If I use the location search, the best resolution available is a 1km radius, so depending on which grid reference you use as the central point you end up with records you don't require.
I know I can fudge it by downloading all the records and then selecting just those within the required square, but this is time consumming.
If I use the spatial search the only option for an overlay is a 10km OS square.
Am I missing something, or is this as good as it gets?

Hi Christine,
Unfortunately no, I can't find a quick way of accessing a species list for a 1km square. I'll ask Reuben whether it is possible to include grid reference in the advance search, I think that is the best solution,

Many of us use the 1km grid square as the base for our surveys so this would be a really usful tool when trying to plan targeted surveys.
