Re: Import error - Checking for duplicates

I am a relatively new user of Rec 6 so may have missed this issue previously being posted.

When importing data from excel I can get as far as the Importing Data into Recorder screen and all is well until the process reaches the "Checking for Duplicates", whereupon the following error message occurs.

Exception occurred in application Recorder 6 at 08/05/2008 14-24-56.
Version : 6.10.4.120

Exception path:
EOleException : The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object ''.  Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly

I have tried several spreadsheets but each time the same thing occurs.

Any ideas?

Re: Import error - Checking for duplicates

Did you ever resolve this as we are currently having the same problem with imports from another machine
