Topic: 'P' Date precision

The 'P' date precision is interpreted by Recorder 6 (and the NBN Gateway?) as a season - e.g. 1/6/1987 - 31/8/1987 is Summer 1987. These don't appear (at least in the examples I have found) to have been transferred across the NBN Atlas correctly, possibly because Darwin core doesn't handle season dates:

I assume they should be either entered as 'year' dates, (with the season in verbatimEventDate) or as a month range.

Re: 'P' Date precision

Thanks for this Charlie, I didn't know we had a P date precision!

I think that they should be a month range, and, as you say, with season in the verbatimEventDate.

I've added it to github: https://github.com/nbnuk/nbnatlas-issues/issues/446

Thanks, Sophie
