Topic: problem with validation!

I have some records recorded on 5/5/2016 and determined May 2016

Recorder is happy to accept these records on entry and subsequent saving, but the validation rejects them I presume because May 2016 = 1/5/2016-31/5/2016 and 1/5/2016 is before the observation date

Re: problem with validation!

This is a bug in the input validation which allows these records in when it shouldn't. I will need to get John to fix this as it in part of the code which I am not comfortable about changing.

Re: problem with validation!

Surely this is a bug in the EXPORT validation, because the record is totally valid (providing the record was determined in May AFTER the collection date!

Re: problem with validation!

Recorder doesn't allow (i.e. considers invalid) "sub dates" where the data range extends beyond the "parent date".

A work around (or the perhaps the correct way to do it from Recorders point of view) is to enter the det date as 5th May to 31st May.
