Topic: Obs hierachy filter

The obs hierachy filter for samples and survey events includes a "start date" option.

I have a sample with the date 10/10/2014 - 20/10/2014. Should using filter parameters [start date is equal to 10/10/2014] pick this sample up? It doesn't seem to be (in fact it's just showing me _date_ is equal to 10/10/2014.

And actually using parameters [start date is equal to 10/10/2014 - 20/10/2014] works. Should "start date" be changed to read "date" ?

This doesn't work in an intuitive way and in my view is next to useless the way it is. It is certainly something which could be looked at, but will need some detailed thought about how date ranges are dealt with.
