Topic: Polygons - subtracting one from another

HELP!!!  I need to know if it's possible to subtract one polygon area from another and run a search within R6 on the resulting donut shape, info urgently needed...

Yes- draw/import the polygon you want to cut the hole in and draw/import the cutter. Then click on the subtract boundary button, select the one you want to cut the hole in, press F8, select the cutter, press F8.
