Topic: Distinguishing Zero Abundance records using Distribution Map 1

Hi,

Another query re. using Distribution Map 1 to show locations for the PlantTracker species.

I would like to display zero abundance records in a different colour to the rest (the format we're using for all records so far is Style=dist_point_red).  Is there any guidance on how to do this somewhere?

Many thanks

Dave

Hi Dave
I assume from this that you are using GeoServer to generate the layer. If so, then the available style definitions have to be "programmed" onto the GeoServer to make them available. Is it just a case of making them hollow or similar if they are zero? If so then it might make sense for me to update the dist_point_red and other similar styles, so that this becomes the standard behaviour.

Hi John

Thank you, yes, that sounds like a good solution to me.  And yes, we're using BRC's GeoServer in this example

Cheers,
