Topic: How do I find the missing taxon I know are in the database?

Hello, in 2012 I posted this topic:-

"I have a recurring problem when importing some records. The application crashes giving me the option to close application or restart application etc. Once it has restarted I now find that the event and the observations have been added but that there is no taxon occurrence details. If I re-import the records it works fine and I am then able to delete the phantom records. My worry is that there are some rogue records (missing taxon occurrence details) that I have previously added and thought were ok. Is there any way I can search for all the records that are missing taxon details so that I can remedy the problem?"

This probem no longer seems to happen, however, Fife now has a new Information Officer who would like to check the whole database for any samples with missing taxonomic details. Is there a tool that would allow me to list these phantom records so that measures can be taken to remedy?
Many thanks in anticipation.

The attached report will identify samples with no occurrences. Clicking on the sample_key will take you to the sample.

Copy the file into the reports folder of R6. The report will appear under system_supplied reports/Tools/ It is report Tools1.

If you find you have lots of samples with no occurrences  then ask for a batch update to remove them.
