Topic: Access inked database

I've been asked some questions by our IT department regarding moving our networked Recorder 6 installation from a Windows 2003 server (going obsolete) to a new Windows 2012 server. This raised questions from them to me about the Access-linked database which sits in the Recorder App Files. When changes are made to the main database, for example if new records or other data are added via Recorder, when is the Access-linked database updated to reflect what is in the SQL? Is it immediately or some time after, e.g., after an application restart? I use the Access-linked database to run DMAP and update our GIS data.

Any thoughts please?

Re: Access inked database

It is done with an ODBC link, which means that it is always in step.
