Topic: Exception Messages - Bug Reports

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me. When I produce a report in Recorder 6 I seem to be getting a bug report with the following:

exception message : Access violation at address 004FBA3C in module 'RecorderApp.exe'. Read of address
00000004.

Running reports in the past has been fine, but just recently this seems to have been appearing which is causing me to have to restart recorder.

If anyone has an ideas what this might mean please let me know.

Has anything changed with your set up of Recorder ?  I assume the reports work when you restart Recorder.

Hi Mike,

No nothing has changed with my set up - or not that I know of, how would I check this? The reports did work when I restarted Recorder, and I haven't seen the message for a while. Can bugs fix themselves?

If you are on a network then it could be a glitch in the connection which caused the problem. Bugs in Recorder 6 can usually be reproduced consistently and don't go away.
