Topic: How tell when imported into Recorder?

Is there a way to tell looking at a species record when it was entered into the database?

Select the record, i.e. click on the species name in the observation hierarchy, and click the Show Metadata icon (aqua marine circle with an i in it) on the active window toolbar. This will tell you the date the record was entered into Recorder 6 and the date it was last changed, if it has been changed. If it has been imported from another copy of Recorder 6 it will tell you the Site ID of that system, but not the date it was imported, and which system has custody of it. If you search the Help for 'metadata' you will find more information.
