Topic: Moving on

Hi all,

I'm leaving the Sussex Biodiversity Record Centre at the end of February. I'll be moving on to join the IT team at the Field Studies Council, so while I'll no longer be with a record centre, I'll still be very much a part of the wider NBN.

The last 11 years at SxBRC have been quite a journey, taking the database from 250k to over 5 million records and helping to develop the local recording scene into a strong, thriving community. I'll miss my colleagues there and in the wider LERC network, but I'm also terrifically excited to be joining an organisation as broad and dedicated to the environment as FSC. It's moving on, but not away.

I'll be seeing you around!

All the best,
Charles

Good luck Charles - I'm sure we'll be crossing paths again in future. You'll be missed at SxBRC I'm sure.

Re: Moving on

Congratulations from me too, and thanks for all the help you've provided to me (and many others!) while at Sussex. Look forward to seeing what you do with FSC!
