Topic: Dictionary 0000002F,2G,2H - issue with List of Additional Names

I applied this last week and have now noticed that the List of Additional Names is behaving oddly.  Using the Find Taxon box to find any animal species from this list, results in a lengthy period of no action, Recorder 6 (Not Responding) and having to quit Recorder.  For plant species, there is no problem.  Looking in the Taxon Dictionary Browser shows that only the Plant kingdom has the expanding '+' next to it.

Recorder version is 6.22.2.274 and indexes were updated after applying the dictionary update.

I have the same issue as Alison, I think this needs sorting ASAP, I've not checked what has happened to any existing animal records attached to this list, but I'm guessing they are no longer visible

This is a problem in the NHM master dictionary. It affects only 8 taxa, but because some  are at the top of the structure the effect is dramatic. 

I attach dictionary upgrade 000002I which will fix this and also the Coleoptera issue reported at http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?id=5591. Copy the file as it is into the scripts folder  and run the Dictionary upgrade.  The Index tables will then need to be rebuilt.

Thanks for sorting it so quickly, I think there needs to be some sort of announcement in the 'Announcements' section as it is another Dictionary update

Opening the Recorder 6 webpage shows the latest dictionary update as "2H". Now that we have update "2I" (which I have installed on two installations of Recorder) can we have the Latest Version amended to "2I" on the front page and "2I" added to the list of update files which are listed at http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-4615

Not doing this might cause confusion to anyone who may not realise that "2I" is available.
