Topic: Assigning records to a user account

Hi,
I'm just wondering if there is a way to assign records that have been accidentally submitted 'anonymously' to an existing user account?

I have tried to add the CMS User ID and CMS Username to a record in the warehouse in an attempe to tie the record to the user and so make the record appear in the My Records report on our website but haven't had any success.

Has anyone else tried this successfully?

Hi Fiona
The warehouse will automatically do this when a new user logs in for the first time using the Easy Login module, but not retrospectively. Probably the easiest thing would be to email me the details and I'll write a back-end query for you.

Thanks John, I suspected it didn't work retrospectively but wanted to make sure.

I have had several users who have added records without being logged in and all have understood that it can't easily be rectified so I will leave it at that rather than getting you to do anything.

I think I will add a line on each of my recording forms to remind people to log in!
