BIS is getting a lot of requests from NBN Gateway to access NRW data it manages. However this data only goes upto 2009 and most is in the seventies or eighties. Although I reply and tell users to apply to BIS for current information, no-one has, nor have they applied to BIS for a data licence for the sensitive spp records. I think it is quite worrying when researchers and students think NBN Gateway is the only source of records when LRCs hold current information from local experts. I think that should be made very clear on NBN Gateway.
