Topic: How to get an account on BRC Indicia test warehouse?

Hi all,

Apologies if this is common knowledge, but I'm brand new to Indicia so still finding my way around.

How would a person go about getting an account for the BRC's test Indicia warehouse? Am I right in thinking that this exists to support the development of Indicia-based recording sites so we don't all need to have local PostGIS-enabled web servers to develop on?

Any help would be much appreciated and I'm sure this isn't the last confused question I'll be asking here.

You'd go about getting an account on the BRC warehouse by posting here! Thanks for your interest.

You need to email me some details in order that I can create an account. If you click on my name to the left of this post you'll find a link to a form by which you can email me.

The details I need include your name, email, organisation, website url and your planned use.

You are correct that we host the warehouse to support the development of Indicia-based recording sites so you don't all need to have local PostGIS-enabled web servers. By using our warehouse as your data store, all you need is an ordinary website on an ordinary server which will send records to the warehouse.
