Topic: Grid map displayed without plots in an iframe

Sometimes a Grid Map displayed in an iframe on my website has no data plots even though the same Grid Map displayed on the NBN site has data plots. Is this due to a time out or failure of the gis.nbn.org.uk  server?

Here's an example at 10:29 on Sunday 02/02/2014

http://www.ukflymines.co.uk/Beetles/Bag … smatis.php - no plots

https://data.nbn.org.uk/Taxa/NHMSYS0020151466/Grid_Map - plots

Hello Brian

The grid map URL requires a preferred taxonversionkey for the taxa and not one for a synonymous name.

In the example above the URL for Bagous_alismatis should be https://data.nbn.org.uk/Taxa/NHMSYS0020151466/Grid_Map. The one currently used https://data.nbn.org.uk/Taxa/NBNSYS0000025307/Grid_Map is for the synonymous name Hydronomus alismatis which ends up with a blank map as the gird map is expecting the preferred TVK
