Topic: Pipistrellus pygameus duplicated

I have recently upgraded my databases (London Bat Group, LBG and personal) to Recorder 6.19, which seemingly was successful.  In the LBG database, when I drill down the MAMMALIA Natural History Museum Checklist of Mammals to Pipistrelle Bat Species, then Pipistrellus pygameus appears twice (without a common name).  The taxon key is the same for both (NBNSYS0100004613).  Some queries seem to duplicate records and the common name is always missing.  I have rebuilt the taxon name and other indexes.  My personal database appears as I would expect with one reference and a common name.  The only difference between the databases is that I have added some extra bat species to the LBG database (eg Whiskered/Brandt’s).

Any ideas?

Re: Pipistrellus pygameus duplicated

Can you just confirm that both are on the same version if the Dictionary ?  If so then I suspect some dictionary problem with the LBG copy.  The best way to sort this out woudl for you to let me have a copy of the LBG database so that I can investigate and provide corrections if necessary. A zipped copy of the backup file on DVD or via the internet would be fine.
