Topic: Recorder Crashes while importing data

While importing data from a csv file, Recorder crashes on the last screen, after asking to Do Import. (see attached error report)
Restarting Recorder, enables the file to be successfully imported, although there are errors reported. On examination of the data, there are duplicate Events and Samples, which have to be manually deleted. Otherwise the data looks all OK.

This error seems to be random. Some data imports without any issues, and other apparently similar data has issues.

There isn't an  attachment. Also can you tell me which version of R6 you are using.

Sorry about the attachment, thought it was there. I am running version 16.19.4.267, with dictionaries 1W, running under Windows 8.

That looks like a genuine problem with inserting into the table. Suggest that you try running the Last key update addin as a first step.  You might already have this in the tools menu.  If not I attach it as a zip file.

Yes I had already tried that, and didn't seem to make any difference. i.e. zero keys updated, and still a problem.
Sometimes when I run LastKey I get one or two keys updated, but more often zero keys updated.

Do you have a small file which I could have to test  this with ?  It is going to b e difficult tr track down unless it can be duplicated.

The attached data file was one of a set of similar files causing problems.
