Topic: Pink plague

When I have looked at a (new style) interactive map recently, parts of the image have been obscured by a number of large pink squares. The arrangement of squares differs each time I look at a map. If the area of the map I am interested remains visible, it is possible to interrogate the map as usual. However, it is usually obscured. What's going on?

Re: Pink plague

Hello

Over the Christmas and New Year period there was an issue with the performance of the NBN Gateway,  especially the interactive mapper resulting in the appearance of pink squares on the map. The cause of this issue appears to be the result of problems with one of the databases. This is currently being looked into. We apologise for the inconvenience this caused over the Christmas period.

Best wishes
