Topic: Taxa search problem

Search for Ranunculus flammula x reptans = R. x levenensis return no result. But If search for Ranunculus flammula the species is on the results as soon as I adding "x" it doesn't return anything.

Hello Luck

The Gateway searches on each word separately eg "Ranunculus", "flammula", "x" but needs at least 2 characters in each word to return a result. I have added this as an issue though I suspect it was set up this way to prevent it returning large number of results when initially typing in a single character.

Thank you for the answer. I have managed to get round the problem by adding * or converting them to wildcard but it only work on some.
