Topic: Notifications

Hello,

It seems that through iRecord I can view my notifications relating to records I've submitted via ORKS (the ERCCIS recording site) but not through ORKS itself.  And of course it would be really helpful to have these viewable to users so that they’re updated about their records.  I wondered if you could provide any help for me to set this up?

Hi Tamara
You can set an equivalent form up by adding a new Indicia form with the following settings:
Select Form Category: Reporting
Select Form: Dynamic Report Explorer
User Interface - Interface Style Option=Tabs
User interface - form structure as below:

=Messages from other users=
[notifications_centre.user_messages_grid]
@default_edit_page_path=submit-many-records
@view_record_page_path=record-details
=Automated checks=
[notifications_centre.auto_check_messages_grid]
@default_edit_page_path=submit-many-records
@view_record_page_path=record-details

I've set this correctly for your site (I hope) but for anyone else reading this, make sure that @default_edit_page_path and @view_record_page_path are set to the correct paths for these pages on your site.

Thanks very much John - have successfully added this.

Please could you just confirm the function of the 'Acknowledge all....' buttons within the notifications tabs? 
Am I right in thinking this marks all messages as read and then they're deleted (so that the list doesn't get out of control!)
