Topic: A number of issues part 1 - Points not displaying on maps

Our systems appear to be suffering from a number of issues the timing of which is somewhat irritating.

I was trying to upgrade to 6.19.1, but appear to no longer have permission to do so (http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?pid=18768#p18768).

There are however two further issues that I am now having, and I don't think that they are related to the upgrade (or lack of).

One Windows 7 desktop pc no longer displays Survey Events or Samples in the mapping window. This works fine on other machines with various operating systems so it is presumably something specific to this machine. I'm not keen to reinstall but will do so if that is the suggestion. Since no exception is thrown, I have no system error information to supply to aid diagnosis.

I will post the second issue separately.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the workstation is a really quick and painless operation with Win7 on our system at least. I would try that first.

I wouldn't call it painless, but the dots are at lest back on the maps. Now I've just to remember how to uninstall an add-in that doesn't appear in the add-in list but can't be installed because it already exists.
