Topic: Warehouse on Debian 7.1 (php 5.4.4)

Hi,

I try to install the warehouse on Debian 7.1 which ships with php 5.4.4.  I try with the indicia trunk, since there is one already known issue in 0.8.1b (see r4645).

But there seem to be more issues: if I just go with my browser the first time to the freesh indicia directory, I get the message that I have to give write access to application/logs, config and cache. If I do that and reload the page, it just returns an empty page. I can not find any log messages, not in the indica logs, not in the apache logs.

Does someone has already installed indica on debian 7?

Regards

Daniel

Re: Warehouse on Debian 7.1 (php 5.4.4)

Hi Daniel

According to http://indicia-docs.readthedocs.org/en/ … ation.html
"PHP version 5.3 is recommended, PHP 5.2 should work fine but PHP 5.4 is not yet supported."

I would try PHP 5.3 and see if that resolves the problems.

See also https://code.google.com/p/indicia/issues/detail?id=368 and the comments it refers to.

Hi Jim,

I've read this, but since in r4645 is the patch for the issue you pointed ad, I hoped there was some progress which is not documented ... Since "even" debian is at php 5.4 now, I think this should be solved.
