Topic: Cannot open database NBNData requested by the login. Login Failed.

Hi

Just tried a new workstation (Win7) install (WorkstationSetup.exe ver 6.17.1.250) and keep getting this error.

User Account has Domain Admins rights but still no joy.

Any one come across this before and any idea's would be appreciated.

This could be the same problem we used to get - I had to add each workstation to the users in the Recorder SQL instance - if you don't know how to do this get back to me, there should be another thread dealing with this, but can't find it at the moment

Thanks for the reply.

Not sure on how to add users in the Recorder SQL instance, so any help would be great.

Duncan,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you - You need to use SQL Server Management Studio - if you're still having problems then under NBNData go to the Security TAB and Users and select New User and add the workstation's user account with read and write priviledges
