Topic: Suggesting corrections to verification rules

Is there any central mechanism for suggesting corrections to record cleaner's verification rules.

We've got a number of records of pretty common things from very experienced recorders which are listed as being out of the species' known range. In some (but definitely not all) cases this may be the result of errors in the grid reference.

Hello Dan

Flagging up of common species may be the result of missing 10km squares within the species range in the rule file. This is likely to be due to under-recorded squares where records are not in the national scheme's database used to generate the rules. If you send me the suggested corrections I will have a look to see if this is the case or if this is a problem with the rules themselves. Either case it sounds like the rules need updating.
