Topic: Dictionary Downloads Problems with K,L &M

Hi there, i'm trying to update recorder 6 version 6.17.1.250 at dictionary version 0000000J to bring it uptodate. When trying to run the update tool i'm getting the message 'A different upgrade is required to upgrade your version of Recorder.' I'm guessing that this is because I cannot download updates K,L & M as it appears that the files are not available and without these updates I cannot progress with any other more recent updates? What was in the Scripts folder when you ran the upgrade? You should have had  0000000K.sql, 0000000L.ini, 0000000L.zip, 0000000M.ini and 0000000M.zip, not the Rec6Dict_0000000K_UnzipMe.zip , etc. you download. Are you using version 4 of the Dictionary Upgrade Kit? As explained in the internal help in Recorder 6 v6.17 (see link on the Home page), you need to unzip the download just once. Please note that the Help isn’t correct in earlier versions as it wasn’t necessary to unzip the download at all years ago.

Hi there, I think my first challenge is that I cannot get the K, L and M updates as when I try to download the files i'm receiving a 404 error saying the link does not exist and yes i'm using version 4 of the upgrade kit. Thanks John

I can’t download them either. I get a ‘404 - File or directory not found’ error so I  will e-mail them to you and ask JNCC to make them available again.
