trying to export a report to Access format I am gettingt he following error message
Error in data export. Access violation at address 008C532F in module 'RecorderApp.exe'. Read of address 00000000.
Any ideas?
Is an error file being generated. If so please can you attach it.
As far as i can tell now there was no error file generated. At the moment I can't remember what I was doing when this happened, but I will let you know when I have caught up with myself
I had problems exporting to access with the new RC last night. Removing the text type column (I was exporting a select * from <table>) from the column export list allowed the file to be exported successfully.
The error message is just a dialog box - presumably genreated by the export wizard.
Probably worth noting that I did get some records - something like the first dozen, but it choked on the first occurrence of text within the text type column.
OK I can at least confirm that my problem is the same as Charlie's. I removed Taxon_occurrence.comment from the export and it worked fine.
