Topic: Theme not supported

Hi
Just wondering if anyone else is getting the warning that the Framework theme is not supported.

I am currently using Framework 6.x-2.6 and Drupal is recommending 6.x.3.3. The problem is that when I updated the theme, my site disappeared! Not ideal!

Has anyone else updated this theme successfully or, indeed, does it matter?

Hi Fiona

Everyone on the old Framework theme will be getting the not suported warning. It means the developers will no longer fix bugs in that version. I don't think it poses any risk.

I do one of two things. Either I ignore it as I am not concerned about the look of my site or I replace the theme with something else and go to town with the styling. I have used the Zen as a basis when I have wanted to style my sites.

I'd take the approach of 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' unless you particularly want to spend time on your styling right now.

Brilliant Jim, that's pretty much what I wanted to hear. Since Framework is part of the Instant Indicia theming, and I have created a sub-theme for my own styling, I will leave well alone and get on with tinkering with Reporting.
