An updated version of the NBN Record Cleaner (V1.0.8.3) has been released. This update can be downloaded from the NBN Record Cleaner, by clicking on the software updates link or as a fresh download and install from the NBN website (http://www.nbn.org.uk/Tools-Resources/R … eaner.aspx). The NBN website also provides links to the updated NBN Record Cleaner user guide and rule guide.

This release extends the spatial rules to support both 5km and 2km grid references, improves the verification tests save results form and fixes a number of bugs. These fixes include correcting the use of vice-counties within the spatial rules, correcting temporal rules use of dates and fixing the export of records passing verification for a large number of rules. A number of minor changes to the interface have also been made.
